Grimoon is a musical and visual project; one day, Grimoon challenged themselves: making a short movie for each song.
That's the way the band invented several stories and strange characters.
And, in Grimoon's world, nothing is impossible: two cows in love can ride a bike, two umbrellas fall in love in Venice , a mocha and a beer bottle land in Golasecca Town right in the middle of the pampa, a clown plays chess with some puppets…
Each short has its story and each story has its characters.
Grimoon's fantasy gives life to objects, and objects make fun of reality, without limits or boundaries.
What started as a game, then grew up as a real passion, and Grimoon have already done about 20 shorts.
But these shorts are not merely a visual amusement: they were born to narrate the songs, to give them another life, a more complete form. The song becomes visual and musical, and in the live acts Grimoon put together a sort of cinema-gig where anything can happen.
Grimoon's shorts are entirely self produced, characters and costumes are often hand-made.

If having given life to about 20 stories were not enough, Grimoon decided that in occasion of their first official album they could make a real film.
“ La Lanterne Magique ”, the first Grimoon film, will so be released on dvd along the homonymous new cd.
“ La Lanterne Magique ” tells the story of Mr. Lillo, a journalist (in spite of him) leading a very boring life, until the day he has to go to Ville Lumiere. There he will meet strange characters and will live an adventure that will change his life.
